Simon Wachsmuth at Kunstverein am Rosa- Luxemburg-Platz (10/01/2023)

Die Decke hat ein Loch [The Hole in the Blanket] is an exhibition and research project by the artists Annette Hollywood, Jana Müller, and Moira Zoitl, in collaboration with the Kunstverein am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz Berlin/Susanne Prinz, in which (auto)biographical narratives are used to examine material, contemporary and cultural histories that lie outside of mainstream society. The constructed, porous and temporary state of the nature of archives is addressed, a condition that distorts or completely omits the perspective of many realities of life. On December 8, 2022, Simon Wachsmuth's video Qing was screened at Babylon as part of the exhibition. A conversation with Mohammad Shawky, Hassan, Kerstin Honeit, Betina Kuntzsch, and Simon Wachsmuth followed the film program. https://www.rosa-luxemburg-platz.net/die-decke-hat-ein-loch-the-hole-in-the-blanket-by-annette-hollywood-jana-mueller-und-moira-zoitl/ Image: Simon Wachsmuth, Qing, 2016, 2-channel video projection - HD, sound, color, 22'30''
