Heba Y. Amin at the exhibition Aus Heiterem Himmel (Out Of The Blue) at DZ BANK Art Foundation (11/10/2024)
With Maryam Jafri and Ian Waelder as winners of the 2023/2024 scholarship, DZ BANK Art Foundation will host two inspiring projects that deal with contemporary issues and connect generations. After a one-year project phase, the resulting works of art will be acquired for the collection in autumn 2024 and presented to the public for the first time in the exhibition hall of the DZ BANK Art Foundation. The presentation will be thematically expanded with purchases of existing groups of works by Heba Y. Amin, Adam Harrison and Barbara Proschak. All of the selected artists are united by their consideration of socially relevant topics, which they process in their series of works using found photographic material, thereby breaking down the boundaries between genres. The exhibition will be on view from October 11, 2024 to January 25, 2025.
