Erkan Özgen and Itamar Gov was at the Invited within the Mardin Biennial (09/07/2022)
The works Extinction Vortex by Erkan Özgen and Anatolian Phantom Limbs by Itamar Gov were in the Invited exhibition, which was hosted by the Mardin Biennial. Actors and/or institutions from the art world were invited to hold an exhibition. The Invited became the host and invited more artists to the exhibition at stake. With the Invited, an autonomous path and exhibition form apart from the status quo and established duties of contemporary art are explored. Thus, a novel and sustainable model of exhibition, which is in friendly collaboration with the main exhibition of the biennial, was put to the test.
